My name is Lisa Buell and I've been a business owner in the food service industry for 24 years, as well as a personal and business coach for 6 years. My bio.

I'm delighted to have combined my passion for both to help restaurateurs achieve success in their businesses while having a high quality life.

Impossible, you say? Not at all!

When you get clear and connect to your passion for this business, as well as what's important to you in life, and commit to taking the steps that flow from that clarity, you'll find you have more energy, more fun, more fulfillment and much more success. And that's what coaching is all about.

Why DID you decide to run a restaurant?

First, it's because you belong to a very special breed. You love food, you love entertaining and you love creating experiences for people. Do you want to make money? Of course. Are there easier, less challenging ways? Yes. For your kind, however, this is the most fulfilling. Now remember back. What did you imagine, what did you dream of, when you decided to do this? See if you recognize yourself here:

  • I like food. I love eating it, cooking it, being creative with it and presenting it beautifully.
  • I like entertaining. I love to create a beautiful space where people can gather and share amazing food, drink and conversation.
  • I love serving. Creating a space where people gather for fun, relaxation and pleasure serves my desire to create and serves my community.
  • I like people. I love meeting new people and developing relationships with my regular customers.
  • It's in my blood. I have always wanted to have my own restaurant.

The Gap

You'll probably notice there is a gap between what you have and what you want. The gap is an exciting place! It's full of possibilities and it's where coaching happens. Coaching helps you pull those possibilities right out of the gap and close it up, allowing you to move forward and reach your vision of success.
